Agents

Three ways an AI agent works with Obelism. The MCP server for every product, the Claude plugin, and ⌘K in every dashboard, each acting as you.

3 min read

An agent works with Obelism the way you do: as you, in your Organizations, as far as your role allows. There are three ways in.

Way inWhereFor
The MCP serverhttps://www.obelism.studio/mcpClaude, Cursor, Codex or any MCP client: every product on one connection
The Claude pluginClaude Code, Claude on the web, DesktopThe same server, plus skills for jobs that span products
⌘KEvery product's dashboardAsking about, or changing, the Space you're in, in your own words

All three reach the same products with the same rights. What each may do is on What an agent may do.

The MCP server

One server for Improve, Content and Numbers, with one sign-in: https://www.obelism.studio/mcp. Add it to your MCP client and sign in once in your browser. For Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http obelism https://www.obelism.studio/mcp

Agent setup has the steps for every client, written so you can paste the link into your agent and let it do them. See The MCP server for how signing in, scopes and tools work.

The Claude plugin

The Obelism plugin connects that same server and adds three skills for jobs that span products:

SkillWhat it does
import-designA page made in Claude Design becomes a draft page in Content, built from the Space's own blocks
connect-siteSets up a site's repository: Content's SDK, its tokens and webhook in develop or staging, and Numbers' tracking
test-a-blockAn A/B test on a block of a page: the test in Improve, its variants in Content, and its results

In Claude Code:

/plugin marketplace add Obelism/sdk
/plugin install obelism@obelism

On Claude on the web and in Desktop, add the Obelism/sdk marketplace under Customize → Plugins, or have an owner of your Claude organization upload the plugin's zip for everyone. Agents on www has the prompt that sets it up for you.

The ⌘K prompt

⌘K (Ctrl+K) in any product's dashboard opens one menu: type to go to a page, or ask about the Space you're in ("which tests are running?", "add an FAQ block to the pricing page").

  • It reaches the Space and environment you're looking at, and nothing else.
  • It reads straight away, and asks you to confirm every change before making it.
  • It never shows a token's value or a webhook secret, uploads files, or changes the Organization, its members or its Spaces.
  • It works with Improve, Content and Numbers, with your role.

It needs no setup and no connection: it uses your signed-in session.

Each product's own server

Each product also has its own MCP server, on its Agents page: https://improve.obelism.studio/mcp, https://content.obelism.studio/mcp, https://numbers.obelism.studio/mcp and https://media.obelism.studio/mcp. Their tools have no product prefix, and each has its own sign-in and scopes. Use one when you only want that product, or when your client copes badly with a long list of tools. The plugin's skills need the server for every product.

Seeing and disconnecting agents

Agents on www lists the agents connected to the server for every product; Connected apps lists those and every product's own. Disconnect ends an agent's access at once. Changing or resetting your password disconnects all of them.

Scribes marked doubtful lines in the margin. That practice is called obelism.
