# Your account (/docs/account)

Your account is the same in every Obelism product: you sign in on www.obelism.studio, and Improve, Content, Numbers and Media open signed in. Signing out in one product signs you out of all of them. [Account](https://www.obelism.studio/account) holds your name, and these tabs:

## Security [#security]

**Password.** Changing it signs you out everywhere else and disconnects every app and agent you'd connected, in every product.

**Passkeys.** Sign in with your device's fingerprint, face or screen lock instead of a password. Add one with **Add a passkey** (up to 10), after confirming your password, then use **Sign in with a passkey** on the sign-in page, or pick it from the email field. A passkey counts as both factors, so it signs in without a two-factor code.

**Two-factor authentication.** An authenticator app's six-digit code after your password, every time you sign in with it and when you reset your password. You turn it on with your password and get one **recovery code**: keep it safe. Signing in with the recovery code turns two-factor off, so you can set it up again on a new phone.

## Sessions [#sessions]

Every browser and device you're signed in on, with where and when it was last used. **Sign out** ends one, in every product at once; **Sign out everywhere else** ends every one but this. A session lasts 30 days and is renewed while you use it.

Editing on your own site with Content is a session of its own, which ends after 8 hours.

## Connected apps [#connected-apps]

The apps and agents you've given access to your account through MCP: the [MCP server for every product](/docs/agents/mcp), and each product's own. Each shows whether it may only read or also change things, and whether its domain was verified. **Disconnect** ends its access at once.

A connected app acts as you, in every Organization you belong to, as far as your role in each allows. Changing or resetting your password disconnects them all.

## Your email address [#your-email-address]

Invites are matched by email address, so your email can't be changed. To use another, sign up with it and ask an admin to invite that address.
